would you mind passing on the flapjack recipe to me too please? i’m rubbish at flapjacks, they’re either fabulous or terrible and my children just can’t take the disappointment one more time…these look utterly fabulous by the way, actually wouldn’t little ’scandi’ designs look marvelous too…? glad the poster went down well btw :)

Some things *always* come in plural form, like sheep (singular form, never used: shap)

I believe the singular is in fact biscotto. I am trying to come up with another Italian word by way of supporting evidence, but am failing!

Jac- the recipe is by Katie Stewart, who I believe was very famous in her time. I’ll pass you a copy some time :o)

stars were just beginners luck….came out exactly as I’d imagined, and how often does that happen?

and the biscotti were definitely up to scratch. However, I am going to have to get to grips with a little , er, weight loss in the new year, so best slip the odd surreptitious biscotti to your mother when you see her… OK, what IS the singular of biscotti??
