Somewhat remiss of us
Despite us both being very sluggish and under the weather this week (expected recipe count for the whole week, a rather sorry two) we haven’t taken the opportunity to try out the Hot Toddies in the Christmas chapter. Perhaps this is why it has taken us so long to recover!
Either way, I feel distinctly better this evening so on Saturday will sit down and plan out some decisive cooking action for the coming week. All is not yet lost!
This is certainly true, but I did draw a picture of the hot toddy.
It’s not exactly the same thing but it served as a useful reminder, in case we got to the stage where we were unable to read the recipe in the book and needed a large pictorial diagram. For instance, in the case of Cylon attack.
I was clearly still a little sluggish when I wrote that because of course we will in fact be doing four recipes this weekend, seeing as we have two sets of friends coming for dinner (Friday and Sunday). Unfortunately of course this serves to highlight that yet again I don’t have anything for THG’s birthday. At least this year I’m remembering its existence though.
