I totally think these could lose the peanuts- I'm never entirely sure about plain peanuts in isolation from other nuts- particularly if you upped the craisin content. If you felt you ought to lose the pumpkin/sunflower/sesame seeds too (I know they are sometimes co-processed with nuts) then you might have to re-brand them milky craisin flapjacks to keep Trading Standards happy....but they'd still be gooooood.

You could probably fling other dried fruit in too- some <a href="http://www.traidcraftshop.co.uk/p-8126-dried-fairtrade-whole-apricot-6x250g.aspx" rel="nofollow">proper, non-fattened up with oil, dried apricots</a> perhaps?

Oh yum... do you think they'd work sans nuts? I am withholding nuts from the sprogs til they're older because of a family history of allergies... but darn if those don't look fantastic.

That recipe alone might make NE worth a go for me. She should pay you for all the free advertising!

I love these, they are so addictive! Next time I make them I think I'll add pecans :)

Loving your site, btw! I've also tried a lot of NE recipes, about 45. And there are loads more I really want to try.
